Can Reiki replace traditional medical treatments?

No, Reiki should not take the place of any medical treatments. Reiki should be used in conjunction with medical treatments. It may be used to help speed up recovery times and lesson symptoms and side effects of surgeries, procedures, and conditions.

What are the benefits of Reiki?

Reiki has been proven to reduce stress and anxiety, improve sleep, reduce pain and fatigue, induce relaxation and feelings of calm, boost immunity and mood, balance energy, regulate emotional imbalances, deepen meditative practices, as well as enhance connection with spirituality.

What will Reiki feel like? Will there be any side effects?

Reiki treatments can cause varied sensations, depending on the person receiving the treatment. Some people may not feel anything. * This does NOT mean the Reiki isn't flowing.* Some common sensations can be: heat, coolness, tingling, pins & needles, goosebumps, chills, a vibrational buzzing sensation, or a light throbbing sensation, to list a few. It is also common for the recipient to yawn or feel sleepy during a session. All of these possible side effects subside after the session. It is important to stay hydrated after receiving Reiki. As your body is working to rebalance your energy and remove toxins, water helps with any possible aches, headaches, and feelings of lethargy you may briefly experience after a session.
